The Magic of Creating on the Spot

The festival’s defining feature—and one of the main requirements for participation—is a live demonstration of the creative process.

All exhibitors complete at least 50% of their production process in front of visitors. This gives visitors the opportunity to see more than just the finished product: they can discover how it is made, appreciate the maker’s skill, and learn the story behind each item.

In this way, Hand Made Fest actively contributes to preserving and revitalising traditional crafts and trades that are gradually disappearing under the pressure of mass production. At the same time, valuable and sometimes nearly forgotten skills are passed on to new generations.

From Hobbyist to Independent Entrepreneur

One of the project’s main goals is to support creative individuals in developing their work and encourage them to pursue self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Through subsidised participation fees, exhibitors are provided with a well-equipped exhibition space where they can showcase their products, meet their audience, and connect with other creatives.

At the same time, the festival’s diverse programme offers educational, creative, and entertaining activities for exhibitors and visitors of all generations.
